Collectrate

The District Collector, who is the District Administrator, also acts as the District Magistrate for maintaining law and order in the district. In addition to various revenue issues, he deals with planning, development, project management, law and order, public transport, food and public distribution, public health, disaster management, elections and the census. Deputy Collectors and District Heads of various Departments assist the District Collector in discharging his duties.
