ii) District Treasury

The District Treasury is located in the Civil Station and the Six Sub Treasuries are at Kasaragod Town, Hosdrug, Chattanchal, Nileshwar,Vellarikundu and Manjeshwar.

The Treasuries accept Money in to the Govt. Account and pay money on account of Salaries, Pension and other payments from the Govt. Account, issue Govt. stamps and stamp papers. Fixed Deposit Account and Savings Bank Accounts are also accepted.

Average cash out flow in a month is Rs.37 Crores.
